A Victorian Dorper and White Dorper stud has set a new Australian average price record in a total clearance of more than 100 rams.

Deepdale Dorper and White Dorper stud, Merrinee, cleared all 137 rams it offered at its recent on-property sale, selling to a top price of $16,500 for the Dorpers and $15,000 for the White Dorpers.

The 70 Dorpers averaged $6227 in what is the highest average price achieved at an Australian on-property Dorper sale in history, while the 67 White Dorpers averaged $6175.
