Nomuula Dorpers and White Dorpers Stud produces sound, highly fertile robust Dorpers where “size and length does matter”.

Established in 2012, the stud has been built on the best foundation ewes – Type 5 and Type 4 – initially sourced for achieving excellence and following the breed standard, with a focus on confirmation, correctness, and muscling.

Stud principal Cherilyn Lowe is passionate about the Dorper breeds. Nomuula produces masculine rams of very high standard that are structurally correct with great size and length and have a good nature. Ewes are feminine with outstanding mothering qualities and are extremely fertile.

Continually striving for excellence, Nomuula uses artificial insemination and embryo transfer to fast track the adoption of elite African bloodlines.

That excellence continues to deliver not only in the animals that Nomuula produces but also by clients who have gone on to use Nomuula genetics in their own breeding programs.

Genetics aside, Nomuula leaves no stone unturned in its strive for producing healthy animals, with a focus on improved pastures and fodder crops, and modern husbandry techniques including state-of-the art handling equipment.
